Furniture, clothing, children's toys and other items will be offered at the free yard sale (donations will be accepted).
Country ham sandwiches, homemade soups and baked goods will be on sale. Proceeds from the event will go to the Mount Zion Needy Family Fund.
Corn maze
Boonsboro WyldLife will host the Hagerstown corn maze Sunday. The 8-acre maze is set up at Celebration Farm at 17638 Garden View Road, Hagerstown (take Interstate 81 at exit 7 and follow the signs).
WyldLife is a branch of Young Life International specifically for middle- schoolers.
Tickets cost $5 for adults and teens, and $3 for those ages 5 to 12. Those 4 and younger will be admitted free. Strollers are welcome, but no pets will be allowed. There will be a $1 discount for groups of 25 or more.
The last ticket will be sold 60 minutes prior to closing. The organizers will donate $2 of every adult ticket and $1 of every child ticket that day to WyldLife's summer camp scholarship fund. Guests should bring a flashlight for the moonlight maze.

Fundraiser
The Boonsboro High School Athletic Boosters Club will sponsor its Cow "Pie" Drop Saturday Oct. 17, at Warrior Field.
For a $10 donation, you get a sandwich, drink and a ticket for the "drop."
Here are the rules: "pie" hit on your square - $5,000; farthest away - $1,000; adjoining squares - $100; and $10 for each full minute the cow stands on your square. If "pie" splits the squares, the prize money will be split.
The meal will be served at 5 p.m. and the cow arrives at 6 p.m.
Tickets are available from any Boosters Club member and at all home Warrior athletic events. You need not be present to win.
Warrior anniversary basket available
In anticipation of Boonsboro High School's homecoming and half-century of Warrior football, there is a limited-edition 50th-anniversary basket available.

Ladies Night
South Mountain Day Spa will introduce Ladies Night Friday beginning at 6 p.m. In addition to refreshments, information and conversation, a drawing for a free massage will be held. Plan now to drop in and see the beautiful facilities and chat with some old or new friends. The spa is on Main Street near the Trolley Station.
