Boys & Girls Club names new officers

The Boys & Girls Club of Washington County has announced the selection of its officers for 2009-11.

They are:

Julie Rohm, general manager of Valley Mall, has been named president of the youth development agency. Hammond Urner of RBC Wealth Management is the immediate-past president of the club. Tim Henry, chief executive officer of Centra Bank, is serving as vice president; Jef Bohn of Smith Elliott Kearns & Co. is continuing in the role of treasurer; and Robert Stone of the Miller & Stone Law Firm continues to serve as the organization's secretary. Each office is for a two- year term with the vice president expected to succeed the president in September 2011.

Additionally, the club has named the following individuals as new board members: Joanne Ballengee, Hagerstown Housing Authority; Brian Paulsen, JC Penney; and Jim Glenn, AlliedBarton Security Services.
