Kiwanis Club travelogues

The Kiwanis Club of Hagerstown begins its 35th season of the Travelogue Adventure Series at the South Hagerstown High School auditorium. The series includes six programs: "Yellowstone: Trails and Tales," "Barbados: Island in the Sun," "The Best of Bavaria," "Grand Canyon," "Iran, Then and Now" and "Wales: Land of Song."

With each program, a presenter takes the audience on a memorable trip, narrating highlights of a film created during his or her visit to the area.

The series is a community service project of the Kiwanis Club. On average, 250 to 300 people attend each performance.

The season ticket price for six performances costs $30, or $10 for a single program. Proceeds from the series help the club raise funds to support its charitable activities in Washington County. For information, call 301-739-1981.
