The Octoberfest event will be held in Rider Fellowship Hall. The church is at 712 Church St., on the corner of Church and Winter streets in Hagerstown.
The event will feature craft tables with centerpieces, and lots of fall and Christmas items.
Apple dumplings, homemade candies and homemade apple butter will be sold. The lunch menu includes country ham sandwiches, $3 each; tenderloin sandwiches, $3; hot dogs, $1; homemade vegetable and ham and bean soup, $2 per bowl or $4 per quart.

Class of 1961
South High's class of 1961 will hold a homecoming party Friday beginning with a tailgate party at School Stadium, where they will also be attending the game.
On Saturday, a picnic will be eld at Martin L. "Marty" Snook Memorial Park in Halfway at pavilion No. 2. Classmates will gather at 11 a.m. and lunch will be served at noon. Please bring a covered dish; everything else will be provided. For more information, call Tobey Anderson at 301 582 1923.

Basketball signups
The Hagerstown Junior Basketball League will hold registration Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at E. Russell Hicks Middle School. All returning and new players must register, and have proof of age or birth certificate.
Fall bargain sale
The Women's Club will hold its fall bargain sale at the club at 31 S. Prospect St. on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. Gently used clothing, household merchandise, jewelry, shoes, and odds and ends will be available for purchase.
Drinks and sandwiches will also be sold.
Hagerstown Lions Club
Tuesday - Bishop Pareshudha Babio will give a presentation about a Christian orphanage in India.
In other news, Lioness Beverly Nichols and Lion Watson Rasey reported collecting 106 eyeglasses, 308 lenses and 22 cases. Also contributing eyeglasses were Lion Earl Wolf, Discovery Station and an anonymous donor.
