Valley Mall

Michele Wills has joined Valley Mall as marketing director.

Wills will oversee all marketing operations for the mall, including events, promotions, advertising and public relations.

Before joining Valley Mall, Wills served as marketing director/vice president for The Herald-Mail Co. She also has served as program director of the Washington County Commission on Aging, program director of the American Heart Association and executive director of the Homebuilders Association of Washington County.

Wills has also served on several Hagerstown-area boards, including the Education Foundation of Washington County Public Schools, Hagerstown-Washington County Chamber of Commerce, Parent-Child Center and the Washington County Commission on Aging.

Bushey Feight Morin Architects Inc.

Don R. Smith of Bushey Feight Morin Architects Inc. in Hagerstown has received his architectural license from the State of Maryland.


Smith passed the final part of a nine-part architectural registration exam in June to become an officially licensed architect.

Smith holds a bachelor's degree from Oregon State University and has been working in the architectural profession since 1995.

O'Neill Physical Therapy Services

Lorraine O'Neill, P.T., DScPT, WCS, owner of O'Neill Physical Therapy Services, recently was certified as a clinical specialist in women's health physical therapy.

O'Neill is one of 61 physical therapists nationwide who have earned the designation.

O'Neill has been a physical therapist in Hagerstown for 30 years and received her doctorate from the University of Maryland.

Callas Contractors Inc.

Rich Robinson of Callas Contractors Inc. was named safest superintendent for August.

Robinson has been employed by Callas for almost 10 years and has been a superintendent for more than six years.

Wayne Robinson and Wayne Southerly were named safest employees winners for August. Both have been employed by Callas for almost 30 years.

Bodyworks Massage Center

Jeffery S. Delauter Sr., RMP, of the Bodyworks Massage Center, recently completed a sports massage continuing education class at the Holistic Massage Training Institute in Baltimore.

Delauter learned new techniques to combine with remedial exercises for the treatment of soft tissue dysfunctions caused by sporting activities. The course focused on how to apply pre-event massage, post-event massage and how to treat the most common athletic musculoskeletal injuries, including shin splints, sprained ankles, contusions to quadriceps and hamstrings, tendinitis, rotator cuff and IT band syndrome.

Orrstown Bank

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Bill Feist has joined Orrstown Bank as a vice president and business development officer.

Feist will serve the bank's West Shore market.

Feist is a graduate of Shippensburg University. He also is a graduate of the Central Atlantic Advanced School of Banking and a 2004 graduate of Leadership Harrisburg.

Hagerstown Community College

Ricky L. Ulrich has been appointed as director of the InnovaBio-MD program at Hagerstown Community College.

The program is a partnership of corporations and educators, modeled after the InnovaBio program at Salt Lake Community College in Salt Lake City, Utah. The program offers a hands-on approach to enhance student laboratory skills in a biotechnology setting.

Ulrich will be responsible for supervising and mentoring biotechnology interns from HCC, Frostburg (Md.) State University and Washington County Public Schools.

Ulrich holds a Ph.D. in microbiology from Clemson (S.C.) University and worked as a microbiologist from 2001 to 2008 at USAMRIID at Fort Detrick in Frederick, Md.

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Bob Snurr and Rose Ann Yohn of the Waynesboro office of Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA were recognized as top sales professionals in August.

The decision was based on the number of new listings, sales and referrals; attendance at real estate meetings and workshops; and customer satisfaction reports.
