St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Stephanie Yancy will speak Sunday at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services. The parish choir will provide music at the later service. Sunday school classes for all ages begin at 9 a.m. including an adult forum on How Our Faith Informs Our View of Health Care.

St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Pastor Tom Perry will preside at the 8:15 a.m. communion service and 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday, speaking on Chill Out. Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, Pastor Eric Norgard is preacher and presider Sunday at the 8:30 a.m. praise worship in the fellowship hall and the 10:55 a.m. evangelical worship in the sanctuary. Sunday school at 9:45 a.m.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, the Rev. Mark Mooney's topic at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday service is Open Hearts. E-Man the puppet will highlight the service. A new members class follows.


First Christian Church, Pastor Nancy Jenkins will give the message, How Shall We Live?, at the 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. services. Special music by the chancel choir. Sunday school for all ages at 11:15 a.m.

Christ Reformed UCC in Cavetown, the Rev. Carol Hallman's message Sunday at 10:30 a.m. is Being Salt. Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m.

Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren, 20402 Beaver Creek Road, Pastor Rachel Black will give the message, Anoint Us, Lord, at the 10 a.m. service Sunday. Madison Gaines is the worship leader. Sunday school for all ages begins at 9 a.m.

Valley Assembly of God Christian Life Center, 17544 York Road, Hagerstown, Sunday, the Rev. Ron Haus will be speaking at the 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. services. Church of the Holy Trinity UCC, Halfway, the Rev. Tim Leighton will speak at 10:45 a.m. Sunday on The Approval System. A potluck luncheon follows. Adult Bible study is at 9:30 a.m.

Tri-State Fellowship, Sunday, at all three services this Sunday, the message is Sketches of God's Workers by Senior Pastor Randy Buchman. Full morning children's and student programs are offered for infants through 12th grade, along with many choices for adults during both sessions.
