How did you get into your business, or what motivated you to start it? "The motivation came from wanting to own my own business. I have been involved in the fashion industry for more than 19 years --Â 16 years in New York and three years in Chevy Chase, Md., and Virginia. I got tired of traveling to Tyson's Galleria and Chevy Chase every day. I wanted to stay local and strive to open a business. I grew up in Brooklyn and wanted to bring a little taste of Brooklyn to Hagerstown."
Previous business experience: Worked in the fashion industry for more than 19 years, including Bloomingdale's, Gucci, Bagutta Life NYC and Isaia NYC. Also was a managing partner of a copy center.
