OSI to host golf tourney

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -- Occupational Services Inc. (OSI) will host its first golf tournament on Thursday, Oct. 15, at the Chambersburg Country Club.

The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a hot breakfast catered by the Woods Cafe. Golfers will tee off at 9 a.m.

The event will include closest to the pin and beat the pro contests.

The event also will include a ball drop raffle. Tickets are $5 each or three for $10. Each ticket number will correspond to a golf ball with the same number. Golf balls will be raised 60 feet and dropped over a pin on the putting green. The ticketholder with the first ball to drop in or the closest to the hole will win $1,000.

The event will be followed by a hot lunch catered by the Chambersburg Country Club.

Winners of the tournament will receive commemorative golf shirts and pro shop gift certificates.


Golfer fees begin at $75, with many sponsorship levels still available.

Proceeds from the tournament will go toward the OSI future new building fund.
