Douglas H. "Nicky" White Sr., 86, of Charles Town, W.Va., died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, at his residence. Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 2, at Oakland United Methodist Church, Charles Town, from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be Saturday, Oct. 3, at 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will be private. Arrangements are by Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town.
