TOPS 462

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter 462 in Smithsburg had a good week as all of the chapter members recorded a weight loss.

The biggest loser was Karen with a 3-pound loss. She just transferred to the chapter the week before.

Mack led the program. He showed a video on chair exercises and the members participated.

On Thursday, Sandy will lead the program on "Mind, Body and Spirit as it Pertains to Losing Weight."

Weigh-in starts at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting will be from 6 to 7 p.m. at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 51 S. Main St. in Smithsburg.

On Saturday, the chapter will have a table set up in front of St. Paul's for the Smithsburg Steam and Craft Show.

The chapter will give out information about TOPS, a nonprofit weight-loss support group. The members will also offer blood pressure checks and have a scale for people to check their weight.

There will also be a raffle for a flower centerpiece made by one of the members.
