Boonsboro Historical Society to hold cooking demonstration

BOONSBORO - The Boonsboro Historical Society will hold an open hearth cooking demonstration featuring apple fritters and other apple recipes Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Bowman (log) House, at 323 N. Main St., Boonsboro.

There will also be pottery-making demonstrations, candle making, and house tours, and the recently acquired Bowman Pottery will be on display.

The newly restored Trolley Museum will also be open during those hours.

There is no charge for these two museums, but contributions are appreciated.

The Boonsboro Museum of History will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. for a minimal charge.

All three museums are within a couple of blocks of each other and can be toured the same afternoon if desired.
