Fulton County adds behavioral health



MCCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - The Fulton County Medical staff has added Fulton Behavioral Health Services, P.C., to its list of services.

The office will began seeing patients through referral basis Sept. 14, at the Fulton County Physician Services Building at 182 Buchanan Trail, McConnellsburg.

An open house is from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28. For more information call specialty physician services office manager Gayle Tharp at 717-485-5342.

Services offered include: individual, family, nondirective play, employee assistance, parenting, stress management, military family services, critical incident stress debriefing, alcohol and other substance abuse, marital/couples, anger management, and urgent mental health.

Fulton Behavioral Health Services will provide outpatient mental health therapy for children, adolescents, adults and elder adults. It will serve Fulton, Franklin, Huntingdon, Blair and Bedford Counties. The practice consists of administrator Elizabeth Gotwals, individual and family therapist; Dr. Stephen Overcash, clinical supervisor and licensed clinical psychologist; Laura Reed, business manager; Jennifer Rhodes, individual and family therapist; and Kathryn Hall, addictions specialist.
