Portion of Jefferson Street reopens after gas line is repaired

Jefferson Street in Hagerstown was closed for a time Thursday morning as crews repaired a ruptured natural gas line in the 700 block, a Washington County Emergency Services dispatcher said.

The street was closed at around 8:30 a.m. Units had cleared the scene and the street was once again open, the dispatcher said at 9:50 a.m.
