Mildred Ruth "Nan" Dentler, 90, a resident of Julia Manor of Hagerstown, Md., died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown.
Born Sept. 4, 1919, in Maugansville, Md., she was the daughter of the late Harry Walck and Oma Amelia Kendle Weaver.
She was a seamstress for E.J. Fennel Corp. of Hagerstown, until her retirement.
She attended Salem Reformed United Church of Christ of Hagerstown.
She was a former member of Red Feather Council 59 Degree of Pocahontas, Williamsport.
Survivors include daughter, Sandra Lushbaugh of Falling Waters, W.Va.; son, Larry Dentler and his wife, Margie, of Hagerstown; sister, Mary Burkholder of State Line, Pa.; brother, Ralph Weaver and his wife, Shirley, of Maugansville; granddaughter, Tina Alexander and her husband, Bobby, of Hagerstown; two grandsons, George James Brothers IV and his wife, Jenny, of Hagerstown, and Brian Alexander of Falling Waters; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
