September 16, 2009

AUG. 22, 1939-SEPT. 14, 2009

BOONSBORO -- Carol Ann Forcino, 70, of 18310 Manor Church Road, Boonsboro, Md., went to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, at Golden Living Center.

Born Aug. 22, 1939, in Tilghmanton, Md., she was the daughter of the late Everett L. and Dorothy L. Mongan Smith.

Carol lived an amazing life as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She cared and loved unconditionally for her two sons and an adopted daughter, whom she raised from birth. She volunteered her motherly love to many of the community children. She was a full-time homemaker. However, she volunteered her time generously to many church events, such as serving on the Christian Education Commission, was treasurer of the Seekers Sunday School class, taught Sunday School and Bible classes, volunteered in early education nursery and served in the nursery during church services. She and her husband touched the lives of many people. They never turned away those in need, and provided them with Christian love.
