Citizens on Patrol reports activity, recruits new members

During August, the Hagerstown Citizens on Patrol logged 60 patrol hours and drove 247 miles on the streets of Hagerstown, assisting the Hagerstown Police Department, according to a release about the program.

During their patrols, the citizens located and identified 64 traffic offenses, one criminal offense, one nuisance offense, and made 15 special checks of businesses and residences, the release says.

Hagerstown Citizens on Patrol is recruiting new members.
