St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Stephanie Yancy will lead Sunday's 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services. Music by parish choir at the later service. Sunday school resumes in the fall.

St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Pastor Quentin Fleming will preside at the 8:15 a.m. communion service and 10:30 a.m. service of the word this Sunday, speaking on What's My Line? Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, Pastor Eric Norgard is preacher and presider this Sunday at the 8:30 a.m. praise worship in fellowship hall and the 10:55 a.m. evangelical worship in the sanctuary. Sunday school rally day activities begin at 9:45 a.m. in fellowship hall.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, the Rev. Mark Mooney's topic at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday grandparents day service is I Surrender All. E-Man the puppet will highlight the service.


First Christian Church, the Rev. Wayne Warren will bring the message, With a Little Help from my Friends, at the 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. services. Special music by Ryan Stewart and the chancel choir. No Sunday school.

First Baptist Church, 15 High St., Hagerstown, Pastor Thom Smith will speak at the 11 a.m. service Sunday on the topic, Receiving and Refusing. Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. Pastor Alan Myers will be speaking at 6 p.m.

Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren, 20402 Beaver Creek Road, Pastor Rachel Black will bring the message, Aged to Perfection, at the 10 a.m. parent/child dedication service Sunday. Mary Medas is the worship leader. Sunday school for all ages begins at 9 a.m.

Trinity Episcopal Church, Chambersburg, Pa., Sunday the Rev. Patrick Pierce will speak at the 8 a.m. communion service while the Rev. Harold Bishop will speak at the 10 a.m. communion service. Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m.

Valley Assembly of God Christian Life Center, 17544 York Road, Hagerstown, Sunday, the topic at the 10 a.m. service is Discernment. Bible Study for all ages at 9 a.m. Sunday evening's 6 p.m. Royal Rangers and Girls Ministries service will look at Lesser Light. Wednesday's youth service is at 7 p.m. on Living Stones.

Broadfording Bible Brethren Church, Pastor Bill Wyand will be speaking at the 10 a.m. service Sunday on the topic, Thrive, Part I. Sunday Kids, Adult and Teen Life Groups at 9 a.m. The Wednesday activities at 7 p.m. include Awana, Teen Connection and Bible study.

Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., a laity and youth-led worship is tonight at 6:30. The Rev. Al Clipp's message at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. services Sunday is Missions Today. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.

St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Beaver Creek Church Road, has a communion service at 8:45 a.m. this Sunday with Pastor Darrell Layman speaking. Sunday school resumes in the fall.

St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Keedysville, offers Sunday school for youth and adults at 9:45 a.m. and a worship service at 10:45 a.m. with Pastor Darrell Layman speaking.

Church of the Holy Trinity UCC, Halfway, the Rev. Tim Leighton will be speaking at 10:45 a.m. Sunday on Giving Advice. Adult Bible study is at 9:30 a.m.

Tri-State Fellowship, Sunday, at all three services this Sunday, the message is Living Out Your Calling by Senior Pastor Randy Buchman. Full morning children's and student programs are offered for infants through 12th grade, along with many choices for adults during both sessions. Youth groups for high school and middle school held at 6 p.m.

Church of Christ in the Great Valley, 7306 Wheeler Road, Boonsboro, Paul Toothman will speak Sunday at 10 a.m. on Fruit of the Spirit - Gentleness. Sunday school at 9 a.m.
