Girls donate hair to Locks of Love

Double donation



Jessica and Alicia Herrera of Clarksburg, W.Va., recently visited the Simply Stunning hair studio on Greencastle Pike with their grandmother, Pat Yeager, of Hagerstown, and decided to donate their hair to Locks of Love. Jessica, 11, donated 12 inches of her hair and Alicia, 8, donated 10 inches of her hair. Salon owner Jodi Whittington cut their hair.

Josie's donation



Josie Walling of Maugansville donated 11 inches of her hair to the Locks of Love program. It was the first time that she has donated her hair. She started fourth grade at Maugansville Elementary School recently. She is the daughter of Josh and Shayla Walling of Maugansville. Josie's grandmother, Becki Pitcock, of Waynesboro, Pa., is a hairdresser at A Cut Above Hair Design Inc. in Boonsboro. Locks of Love is a nonprofit organization that provides wigs to children who have lost their hair due to illness.
