Thelma Lorraine Bragunier, 88, of 14508 Blairs Valley Road, Clear Spring, Md., entered Heaven's glory, Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009.

Born Thursday, Feb. 3, 1921, in Blairs Valley, she was the daughter of the late Amos James Rowland and the late Minnie May Clopper Rowland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence C. Bragunier Sr., in 2008.

She was a member of the Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship and a former member and deaconess of the Blairs Valley Church of God, where she was involved in the WCSC. Thelma's true love was being a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Bragunier Tedrick and husband Thomas of Clear Spring, and Shirley Bragunier Miller of Greencastle, Pa.; two sons, Donald Lee Bragunier and wife Charlene of Clear Spring, and Clarence Corwell Bragunier and wife Bonnie of Clear Spring; 10 grandchildren, Rick Tedrick, Steven Miller, Lisa Prejean, Curtis Bragunier, Kathy Monninger, Dawn Bragunier, Lori Barnes, Mark Bragunier, Matthew Bragunier and Beth Long; 10 great-grandchildren, Ryan Miller, Adam Miller, Andrew Monninger, Tristan Prejean, Chloe Prejean, Jaelyn Bragunier, Coleman Bragunier, Lily Bragunier, Luke Bragunier and Claire Barnes.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Mellott, brother, James Lewis Rowland, and grandson, Darren M. Bragunier.

Services will be held Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, at 10 a.m., at the Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, 14010 Greencastle Pike, Hagerstown, Md., with the Pastors Len Smith, Larry G. Aikens Jr. and Steven Wagoner officiating.

Family will receive friends at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, from 6 to 9 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 13.

Interment will be in the Blairs Valley First Church of God Cemetery, Clear Spring.
