Police: Man sneaking into homes of women



SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police warned Shippensburg-area residents on Tuesday of a man entering the homes of young women.

The man enters homes through unlocked doors and windows, then watches the women sleep, police said in a news release. He runs away when the victims awake.

The suspect has been described as a white man approximately 30 to 50 years old. He has a medium build and height, graying hair and possibly wears glasses.

Anyone with information can notify police by calling 911.

Windows broken out in hunting cabin



CRYSTAL SPRINGS, Pa. - Someone broke four glass windows in a hunting cabin on Pleasant Valley Road last month, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The person also got inside the cabin, police said in a news release.

The damage was done sometime between Aug. 11 and 30.

Police have asked anyone with information about the damage to call them at 717-485-3131.

Explosive detonated in woman's mailbox



GREENCASTLE, Pa. - A resident on Filer Road reported that a small explosive was detonated in her plastic mailbox, police said.

The incident happened on Sunday or Monday, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.

Police have asked anyone with information about the damage to call them at 717-264-5161.

Rock smashes window



FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Someone threw a large rock through a vehicle's rear window on West Main Street, according to police.

Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release that they responded on Monday to the call.

The rear window, dashboard and windshield were damaged, police said.
