Nannie Catherine Chrisman, 89, of Hagerstown, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, at her home.
Born June 11, 1920, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Samuel and Nettie Mae (Easterday) Chrisman.
She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Hagerstown.
She had worked at Bill Hurd's Store in Williamsport, Miller Auto Supply, L'Aiglon Dress Factory and Fairchild Industries.
Nannie was an avid sports fan whose favorite teams included the Baltimore Orioles, Washington Redskins and Maryland Terps. A fond memory of hers was riding the last trolley from Hagerstown to Williamsport.
Her family and friends will remember her as a very caring, generous and giving person.
Nannie is survived by nephew, Terry Chrisman Sr. and wife Pam of Williamsport; niece Arlene Drawbaugh and husband David of Williamsport; great-nephew Terry Chrisman Jr. and wife Tracy of Shelton, Conn.; great-niece Nicole Chrisman Daniel and husband Nelson of Baton Rouge, La.; great-nieces (twins) Gina Baker and husband Matt of Williamsport, and Tina Leimbach and husband Rick of Baltimore; and nine great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
