CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Naomi Rose Androchek, 71, of Chambersburg, died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009, at her home.

Born Jan. 17, 1938, in Pine Grove, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Glen and Blanch Jackson Kendall.

She was the widow of Melvin Welsh, Robert Baker and Dan Androchek.

She is survived by three children, Mark Welsh of Chambersburg, Gordon "Ike" Welsh of Mercersburg, Pa., and Rose M. Hawk of Jonestown, Pa.; stepson, Brian Androchek of Chambersburg; two sisters, Wilma Sipes of Chambersburg and Dixie Hoover of Hustontown, Pa.; one brother, Jackie Kendall of St. Thomas, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Melvin Welsh Jr.; stepdaughter, Deb Androchek; and six brothers, Jerry "Bill," Stanley, Wilbert, Don, Ronald and John.

Services will be Friday, Sept. 4, 2009, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, 112 W. King St., Shippensburg, Pa. The Rev. Floyd Myers will officiate. Interment will follow in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday.
