August 29, 2009

HANCOCK - Tower Bank presented a $500 donation to the Town of Hancock on Aug. 14 at an open house at the bank.

The money will be used to purchase hanging flower baskets for Main Street.

"We appreciate the generous donation from Tower Bank," Hancock Mayor Daniel A. Murphy said. "The new flowers will add an inviting element for Hancock residents and visitors as they travel down Main Street."

The open house was held to give Hancock residents the opportunity to visit Tower Bank's newly renovated office at 131 W. Main St. The bank served light refreshments and offered customers and residents the opportunity to win door prizes during the event.

Tower Bank, a division of Graystone Tower Bank, is headquartered in Greencastle, Pa. The bank has 16 branch locations in three counties.
