20 graduate from ABC program

The Cumberland Valley Chapter Associated Builders and Contractors Inc. (ABC) and the Barr Construction Institute held its Apprenticeship/Craft Training Graduation Banquet on Aug. 13 at the Hagerstown Hotel & Convention Center.

Twenty graduates completed their four-year apprenticeship and craft training programs.

The chapter also recognized six students who had perfect attendance during the 2008-09 school year, including Wade Joy of Architect of the Capitol, who had four years of perfect attendance. Wade also was presented with various tools donated by Hagemeyer-Tristate Electric as a reward for being the top electrician for the past year.
