Found animals

The following animals recently were found and taken to the Humane Society of Washington County.

If you think your pet is among those listed, you may visit the Humane Society of Washington County at 13011 Maugansville Road. The shelter's business hours are Monday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

These animals may be made available for adoption after five days. Call 301-733-2060 for more information.


Young Labrador retriever/pit bull terrier mix, black and white, found on Robinwood Drive.

Adult pug/beagle mix, tan and black, found on Youngstoun Drive.

Adult Jack Russell terrier mix, found near PetSmart on Garland Groh Boulevard.


Adult DSH, black and white, found near Hagerstown City Park.

Adult DSH, black and orange, found on Kaetzel Road in Knoxville.

Adult DSH, orange, found on Humane Society property on Maugansville Road.


Adult DSH, black and white, found on Barnhart Road in Clear Spring.

Adult DSH, black and gray, found on Heather Drive.
