'Quilts and the Underground Railroad' to be discussed

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Lorraine Mishler, a local quilter, will discuss "Quilts and the Underground Railroad" at the Thursday, Sept. 10, dinner meeting of Waynesboro Historical Society. Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Hess Room of Minnich Manor at Quincy United Methodist Home. The program begins at 7:30 p.m. It's free to attend the program only.

Dinner includes chicken breast with tequila lime and fresh cilantro. The vegetarian entre is eggplant roulades with bruschetta topping.

Reservations for the dinner must be made by Thursday, Sept. 3. People may drop off a check at the Oller House, 138 W. Main St., Waynesboro, PA 17268 or call 717-762-1747.

Dinner costs $20 per person and checks should be made payable to Waynesboro Historical Society.
