Valley Mall visitors, start your engines



Valley Mall will host an electric vehicle and hybrid racing challenge Saturday, Aug. 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Power of the DC-Electric Vehicle Association of Washington D.C., will be on hand for the event, which will take place in the Macy's Court area.

Art exhibit



The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts will host an exhibit of art collected by friends and members of the museum.

Alumni group plans yard sale



The South Hagerstown High School Alumni Association will host a yard sale Saturday, Sept. 19, at SHHS from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held rain or shine. Set-up time is planned for 7 a.m.

Family fun day



The Jonathan Hager House and Museum will host a Colonial Family Fun Day Saturday, Aug. 29, from 1 to 4 p.m.

The event will recreate Colonial games for families. The deadline to register is Friday. There is an entry fee of $5 per family.

Williamsport Days



Williamsport Days continue Saturday and Sunday at Byron Memorial Park in Williamsport. Events such as trolley rides, craft items and specialty foods will be available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 301-223-7711.
