Frias, Fabian lead Suns to shutout win

LAKEWOOD, N.J. -- Marcos Frias pitched six innings of two-hit ball with seven strikeouts, and Robinson Fabian threw three scoreless innings for the save as the Hagerstown Suns shut out the Lakewood BlueClaws 2-0 in South Atlantic League action.

The Suns took a 1-0 lead in the third. Steve Lombardozzi led off with a single to right and stole second with one out. Lombardozzi took third on Tyler Moore's groundout to third and scored on Steven Souza's double to right.

Hagerstown made it 2-0 in the eighth. Derek Norris walked and Moore hit an RBI double to center.

Frias (8-4) pitched six innings of two-hit ball, walking one and striking out seven. Fabian allowed four hits and struck out three for his first save.

Justin De Fratus (5-6) took a hard-luck loss for the BlueClaws, allowing eight hits and one run while striking out eight in six innings.
