Found animals

The following animals recently were found and taken to the Humane Society of Washington County.

If you think your pet is among those listed, you may visit the Humane Society of Washington County at 13011 Maugansville Road. The shelter's business hours are Monday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

These animals may be made available for adoption after five days. Call 301-733-2060 for more information.


Adult DSH, black, found on Goldizen Lane.

Adult DSH, gray and black, found on Hoffmaster Road.

Young DSH, white, black and orange, found on Greenwood Street.

Young DSH, cream and orange, found on West Antietam Street in Sharpsburg.

Adult Labrador mix, black, found on Exline Road.

Adult beagle mix, black, white and brown, found on Routzahn Road in Boonsboro.

Adult terrier mix, white and black, found on Bakersville Road.

Adult basset hound mix, brown and black, found on Interstate 70 between Hancock and Indian Springs, Pa.
