Roadside bomb kills two U.S. troops in Afghanistan

KABUL (AP) -- The U.S. military says two American service members have been killed and three others wounded in a bomb blast in eastern Afghanistan.

The military says the troops died Tuesday after their convoy struck a roadside bomb. No other details will be provided until families can be notified.

The latest deaths bring to 26 the number of U.S. troops killed in Afghanistan in August.
