Found animals

The following animals recently were found and taken to the Humane Society of Washington County.

If you think your pet is among those listed, you may visit the Humane Society of Washington County at 13011 Maugansville Road. The shelter's business hours are Monday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

These animals may be made available for adoption after five days. Call 301-733-2060 for more information.

Dog

Adult American Staffordshire terrier, brindle and white, found on Merrbaugh Drive.

Cats

Adult DSH, orange and white, found on Marigold Drive.

Adult DSH, gray, found on Marigold Drive.

Adult DSH, white and orange, found on West Church Street.

Adult DMH, orange, found on Spiceberry Court.

Young DSH, gray and black, found on West Antietam Street in Sharpsburg.

Young DSH, orange and buff, found on West Antietam Street in Sharpsburg.
