Mrs. Delores Marie Herridge, 76, Clarksburg, died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Richard L. Herridge Sr.
Born in Hagerstown, Nov. 24, 1932, she was a daughter of the late William L. and Mary I. Gelwicks Carter. She was a charter member of the Church of the Holy Trinity UCC in Hagerstown and was employed as a bus driver in Montgomery County until her retirement. She then was employed as a dance instructor and was a member of ROUNDALAB.
Surviving, besides her husband, are: one son, Richard L. Herridge Jr., Clarksburg; two grandsons, Matthew Kaplowitz and William Kaplowitz; and one sister, Patricia Ann Bruchey, Hagerstown.
