The Franklin County Fair kicks off Sunday in Chambersburg, Pa. Fair week entertainment includes a skid steer-operators rodeo, a truck and tractor pull, a karaoke contest, a chili cook-off, a talent contest, amusement rides and a demolition derby. Read the story.

Red, White and Bluegrass

Enjoy a free country-bluegrass concert Sunday afternoon as the Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series at Hagerstown Community College's Alumni Amphitheater continues. Licking good time

This is the last homework-free weekend for Washington County Public School students. Celebrate Saturday at Hagerstown Community College's Lollipopalooza. Features a DJ, face painting, rock 'n' roll photo session for kids, Uncle Bean the Magician, music workshops, Discovery Station demonstrations, an inflatable slide, prizes, giveaways and more. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hagerstown Community College's Alumni Amphitheater, Robinwood Drive, Hagerstown. Rowdy in Rouzerville

Saturday's Rouzerfest in Rouzerville, Pa., will have live music, including blues and country, as well as children's activities, a cruise-in, and bingo. The event includes a car cruise-in, children's activities, and live music from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tom EB and Shane of Rudy & the Bluefish will conduct a harmonica workshop 9 a.m. to noon.
