TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter 462 in Smithsburg held its meeting at Veterans Park on Thursday.

After the weigh-in and a short meeting, some of the members walked the path around the park. Some other members walked around the parking lot for a shorter walk.

Ola and John continued their weight-loss efforts for another week.

Chapter members discussed a fundraiser and how to help members reach their goal weight.

John will lead Thursday's program on "Childhood Obesity" and "Getting Fit as a Family."

The group meets Thursdays at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 51 S. Main St. in Smithsburg.
