Civil War encampment



Visitors will see how a typical Civil War bivouac would have been set up and what the activities of daily life would have been for a fighting man in the field. Continues through Sunday, Aug. 9. Taste of the Garden



Second Sundays in the Garden program. Foods from the garden, which are planted and managed by Washington County Master Gardeners, will include all heirloom tomatoes, cantaloupe, zucchini and more. Activities for children will include making a "thumb pot," a traditional way of watering the garden in the 1800s. 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
