"Congratulations are in order for the County Commissioners. They set precedence last year by providing funding for Federal Little League. They should of voted to provide some type of funding for Conococheague. I'm in the Federal Little League district, and I say if it was good enough for Federal to receive money, then Conococheague should also. Granted, Federal probably shouldn't have gotten money last year, but with you giving them money, you should give something to Conococheague." - Hagerstown

"I don't see why some organization can't do something to help those three fawns. When Bucky was here, everyone wanted to help - even the state. There should be some safe place for them to roam." - Hagerstown

"I have solved the illegal immigrant problem. We should line them all up, make them citizens, and give them all the rights and privileges of an American citizen. Then we should reinstate the draft, and send them over to Afghanistan. After they come back, they should be able to work, and they've earned the right to work and prosper in this country, just like all the other citizens have done." - Sharpsburg

"This is in reference to the three deer in Halfway. I've called Indian Springs, the DNR, and they're aware of the problem. They're sort of afraid if they go try to get one or two, they'll run out. So they're trying to fix the problem, so I just wanted to make you aware of it." - Clear Spring

"I guess I have a complaint ... at a bingo place ... you have to go there about six months before you win a game of bingo. I think they're taking advantage of people playing bingo. ... That is all I have to say." - Hagerstown

"I love the sign ... where it reads, 'We will be happy to serve you as soon as you have finished with your phone conversation.' More businesses should follow this." - Hagerstown

"Two pit bulls have been loose in the Leitersburg Smithsburg area on several occasions. The Humane Society of Washington County has been notified by several individuals. ... This morning the dogs were loose again. Is it going to take a child being injured to take care of these problem dogs and their owners? Is there no leash law in Washington County?" - Smithsburg
