Washington Co. Sheriff's Dept. responds to incidents



The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded recently to the following incidents, according to Lt. Mark Knight:

Monday

o At 6:43 a.m., malicious destruction of property was reported in the 17500 block of Lincolnshire Road. Someone drove a tractor into Lincolnshire Elementary School.

o At 8:13 a.m., vandalism was reported in the area of Dubarton Drive. Someone spray-painted construction equipment.

o At 8:24 a.m., malicious destruction of property was reported in the 17300 block of West Washington Street in the area of Cedar Lawn Church. Someone damaged lights there over the weekend.

o At 9:04 a.m., theft of rings was reported from a home in the 15400 block of National Pike.

o At 9:49 a.m., theft of jewelry was reported in the 13800 block of McIntosh Circle.

o At 12:03 p.m., breaking and entering was reported in the 19200 block of Sandy Hook Road. Someone broke into a home and stole a TV.

o At 12:34 p.m., theft of medication and money was reported in the 400 block of Links View Drive.

o At 4:20 p.m., malicious destruction of property was reported in the 10900 block of Roessner Avenue. Someone damaged a lawn overnight.

o At 5:26 p.m., a domestic incident was reported in the 20300 block of Youngstoun Drive.

o At 7:07 p.m., theft of a cooler and alcohol was reported in the 15400 block of National Pike.

o At 8:21 p.m., drug violations were reported in the 100 block of Potomac Street in Williamsport. A juvenile was arrested for drug violations through the Department of Juvenile Justice.
