Fountain Head Country Club pro Jim Schouller made the cut with a 2-over-par 74 Tuesday for a 150 and a tie for 36th. He tees off at 8 a.m. Only the top 40 percent of the original field of 172 players will play the final round.
The top 12 golfers gain an automatic berth in the 2010 PGA National Championship in French Lick, Ind.
Six qualify for shootout
Six players gained entry Tuesday into Thursday's Horzion Chi-Chi's Shootout at Beaver Creek Country Club, part of the week-long WACO festivities.
Chuck Thatcher, Chris Rhodes, Jeff Snowden, Greg Henry, Chris Hafner and Brian Crabtree joined the field of 20 that will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Team Maryland T-shirts
The Conococheague Little League All-Stars will be selling Team Maryland T-shirts tonight at the ballfield in Williamsport's Byron Park from 6 to 8 p.m. Shirts are $15 apiece.
Conococheague won the Maryland State 11-12 Tournament last weekend and will begin play in the Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament in Bristol, Conn., on Friday.
