Paranormal conference

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - APG Conferences will present its inaugural Eastern Panhandle Paranormal Conference Saturday, Aug. 29, at The Apollo Civic Theater.

Doors open at 9 a.m. and the conference starts at 10 a.m. Speakers include Shawn Kelly of Pittsburgh Paranormal Society, Sharon Kincaid of Southern Atlantic Paranormal, Vince Wilson, Rie Sadler of Eastern Paranormal Research and others.

The conference will also include a Victorian sance and message circle.

Admission is $25, with an additional $35 admission charge for the sance and circle. VIP packages are available for $70, which includes basic and sance admission, as well as guaranteed seating in the first three rows of the Apollo. Vendor tables cost $50, with one basic admission included.

Vendors sought

STATE LINE, Pa. - Vendors are being sought for a yard and food sale Saturday, Sept. 19, at Trinity United Church of Christ in State Line. To reserve a space for $10, call 717-597-0589.


Seeking vendors

New Freedom Lions Club is seeking vendors for its yard sale scheduled for 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at New Freedom Playground. Proceeds will benefit Dollars for Scholars.

The Lions are seeking vendors to fill 130 spaces with treasures, rare finds and fun stuff. Individuals, churches, businesses, crafters, flea marketers and organizations are invited to set-up. All food rights are reserved. Alcohol, drugs, pornographic materials, ammunition and weapons of any kind are prohibited.

The 20-foot-by-25-foot spaces rent for $15 if payment is received by Friday, Sept. 18. On Saturday, Sept. 19, the cost is $20. Tables rent for $7 each and are delivered to the vendor. Set-up time is 6 a.m. Homemade food will be available.
