Sheriff's Department responds to calls



The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded to the following incidents Monday, according to a press release from Lt. Mark Knight.

o At 12:46 a.m., a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend was reported on Salisbury Street in Williamsport. No arrests were made.

o At 1:12 a.m., a domestic dispute between a husband and wife was reported in the 14200 block of National Pike. No arrests were made.

o At 3:06 a.m., an attempted breaking and entering was reported at Debbie's Soft Serve in the 22300 block of Old Georgetown Road. Two white males were involved. One of them was wearing blue jeans and a gray, hooded sweat shirt, and the other was wearing blue shorts and a black shirt.

o At 7:44 a.m., a theft was reported on Sharman's Run. Four signs were taken.

o At 10:08 a.m., property damage was reported in the 14700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. A vehicle was scratched in several places.

o At 11:59 a.m., a breaking and entering was reported in the 17400 block of Reiff Church Road. Nothing was taken from the residence.

o At 5:07 p.m., a breaking and entering was reported in the 17700 block of Virginia Avenue. A residence was broken into and damage was estimated at $3,000.

o At 5:08 p.m., a breaking and entering was reported in the 11300 block of Quailbridge Circle. A television, a PlayStation 3 and games were taken from a residence.

o At 6:16 p.m., a theft was reported at Valley Mall. A wallet was taken from a restroom.

o At 6:25 p.m., property damage was reported in the 19000 block of Orchard Terrace Road. A door to a residence was damaged.
