Students win scholarships to Kaplan U.

The following students have received scholarships from Kaplan University in Hagerstown:

o Shane Adam Burkett of Hagerstown has been awarded the Lucille Lewis Memorial Legal Scholarship for $8,000 to attend Kaplan University-Hagerstown. Shane is a 2009 graduate of Grace Academy and is enrolled in the criminal justice program at Kaplan University. He is the son of James and Helen Burkett.

o Kelsy Elizabeth White of Hancock has been awarded the C. Glenn Fry Memorial Business Scholarship worth $5,000 to attend Kaplan University-Hagerstown. Kelsy is a 2009 graduate of Hancock Middle-Senior High School and is enrolled in the business administration program at Kaplan University. She is the daughter of Doug and Michelle White.

o Casey Lillian Giannola of Hagerstown has been awarded a $2,500 information technology scholarship to attend Kaplan University-Hagerstown. Casey is a 2009 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and is enrolled in the graphic design program at Kaplan University. She is the daughter of Jeffrey Giannola.

o Terry Donald Otzelberger Jr. of Williamsport has been awarded a $2,500 legal scholarship to attend Kaplan University-Hagerstown. Terry is a 2009 graduate of Williamsport High School and is enrolled in the criminal justice program at Kaplan University. He is the son of Julie Billman.

o Kayla Richards of Hagerstown has been awarded a $2,500 information technology scholarship to attend Kaplan University-Hagerstown. Kayla is a 2009 graduate of Broadfording Christian Academy and is enrolled in the graphic design program. She is the daughter of Aaron and Tanaya Richards.

o Diana Robison of Maugansville has been awarded a $2,500 information technology scholarship to attend Kaplan Universty-Hagerstown. Diana is a 2009 graduate of Grace Academy and is enrolled in the computer forensics program at Kaplan University. She is the daughter of Edward and Karen Robison.
