Washington County deputies respond to calls



HAGERSTOWN -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to the following incidents, according to Lt. Mark Knight:

Friday, July 24:

o At 12:36 a.m., a rear tire was reported slashed on a vehicle in the 11300 block of Massey Boulevard.

o At 3:36 a.m., a wallet was reported stolen on Potomac Street in Williamsport.

o At 7:44 a.m., cash was reported stolen from a safe at Rinehart Orchards on Rinehart Road.

o At 8:25 a.m., a windshield of a vehicle was reported smashed at Freightliner of Hagerstown on Hopewell Road.

o At 12:16 p.m., soda machines were reported damaged at Pen Mar Park on Pen Mar High Rock Road.

o At 1:13 p.m., a wallet was reported stolen at a McDonald's in the 18500 block of Maugans Avenue.

o At 1:36 p.m., a lawn mower was reported stolen from a shed in the 12000 block of Quirauk Road.

o At 2 p.m., Blackberry sunglasses were reported stolen from Shenk & Tittle in Valley Mall.

o At 3:23 p.m., a yard ornament was reported stolen from Church Street in Williamsport.

o At 4:11 p.m., a purse was reported stolen from inside a laundromat on Salisbury Street in Williamsport.

o At 4:56 p.m., tires were reported slashed on a vehicle in the 200 block of Artizan Street in Williamsport.

o At 6:39 p.m., child abuse involving a child left unattended in a vehicle was reported at J.C. Penney at Valley Mall. Firefighters broke out a window of the vehicle to get the child out. An arrest was made.

o At 11:11 p.m., a drug paraphernalia violation was reported on Potomac Street in Williamsport.

Saturday, July 25:

o At 11:41 p.m., an assault involving a husband and wife was reported in the 18500 block of Rutledge Court.

o At 11:56 p.m., a boat motor was reported stolen in the 6100 block of Lock House Drive.

o At 3:20 p.m., a rear tag was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 10700 block of Brookmeade Circle.

o At 4:53 p.m., a tire was reported slashed on a vehicle on Church Street in Williamsport.

o At 5:03 p.m., a rear tag was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 10700 block of Brookmeade Circle.

o At 8:01 p.m., several lights and tables were reported damaged in Veterans Park, Smithsburg.

o At 11:11 p.m., a domestic dispute between a wife and husband was reported in the 800 block of Interval Road.

Sunday, July 26:

o At 4:12 a.m., drug paraphernalia was found during a traffic stop on Paradise Church Road.

o At 11:38 a.m., rocks were reported thrown from railroad tracks and damaging lawn ornaments in the 21100 block of Twin Springs Road.

o At 1:58 p.m., cash was reported stolen from a piggy bank in the 11500 block of Selema Drive.

o At 7:10 p.m., tools were reported stolen from a truck in the 10500 block of White Hall Road.
