Word of Truth Outreach Ministries, Sunday at Hagerstown City Park from 1 to 3 p.m. Books are distributed, along with help with medications, housing, school supplies, food, etc.

Christ Community Church, an outdoor church service will be Sunday at 10 a.m. in the pavilion at Family Recreation Park on U.S. 40 east of Hagerstown. Guest speaker is Neil Spencer, a Vietnam veteran and Christian missionary in East Asia. A covered dish lunch follows.

Marlowe Assembly of God, 9045 Williamsport Pike, Falling Waters, W.Va., the ministry of Phil and Jan Enloe will be featured Sunday at the 11a.m. service.

Shrine Grotto of Lourdes at Mount Saint Mary's, Emmitsburg, Md., a bicentennial celebration July 31 to Aug. 2 will feature many activities, ceremonies and guest speakers honoring Elizabeth Ann Seton. For more information, call 301-447-6606 or visit www.setonlegacy.org.

Trinity United Church of Christ, 30 W. North St., Waynesboro, Pa., Saturday, Aug. 1, the annual church yard sale is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the rear parking lot and in Harbaugh Hall.

Greencastle (Pa.) Church of God, 4480 Buchanan Trail West, will hold an open house, tours and dedication service on Sunday, Aug. 2, for its recently completed building expansion project at 1:30 p.m. State Administrative Bishop Rodney Jeffords will give the dedicatory address at 3 p.m. A reception will follow.
