The City of Hagerstown provided the following information about the work:

o The contractor will attempt to use flagmen to keep one lane of traffic flowing around the work area.

o Motorists approaching the work area may encounter cones, barricades, flagmen and other traffic control devices.

o Delays are likely, and motorists are advised to use alternate routes around the work zone.

o Emergency vehicles will be able to pass through the work zone ; however, dispatchers should be aware that this work will likely cause traffic congestion and delays in the area.

o The contractor anticipates that the work will be completed by 5 p.m. on Friday afternoon.

o As with all paving operations, rain or other adverse weather conditions may cause the work to be delayed or rescheduled.
