Found animals

The following animals recently were found and taken to the Humane Society of Washington County.

If you think your pet is among those listed, you may visit the Humane Society of Washington County at 13011 Maugansville Road. The shelter's business hours are Monday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

These animals may be made available for adoption after five days. Call 301-733-2060 for more information.

Cats

Adult DSH, tan and black, found on Marigold Drive.

Adult DMH, beige and white, found on Smith Road in Rohrersville.

Adult DSH, gray and white, found on Hart Avenue.

Young DSH, black, found on Fairchild Avenue.

Young DSH, gray and beige, found on Main Street in Hancock.

Young terrier mix, white and brown, found on Mapleville Road.

Young border collie mix, black and white, found on South Mulberry Street.

Adult pit bull terrier mix, tan and white, found on Halfway Boulevard.
