WILLIAMSPORT -- Irene Thelma Kinzer, 91, of 207 Otho Holland Drive in Williamsport, Md., died Friday, July 17, 2009, at Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown, Md.

Born Nov. 24, 1917, in Pittsburgh, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles Patrick and Mary Summers Kinzer.

She was a 1936 graduate of Williamsport High School.

She was employed by Washington County National Bank for 42 years until her retirement. She previously was employed by Williamsport Savings Bank.

She was a member of Calvary Temple in Williamsport.

Survivors include special friends, Gloria Bitner of Williamsport, Mary Ann Landers of Falling Waters, W.Va. and June Cline of Halfway, Md.; sister, Betty Jane "Kinzer" White and her husband, Clarke, of Greensboro, N.C.; brother, Roger D. "Sarg" Kinzer of Pinesburg, Md.; and many nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold C. Kinzer and Donald T. Kinzer.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 20, 2009, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport. The funeral home will be open Monday after 11 a.m. for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Calvary Temple, Williamsport, with the Rev. Robert V. Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
