St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Stephanie Yancy will lead Sunday's 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services. Music will be provided by the summer choir at the later service. Sunday school resumes in the fall.

St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Pastor Quentin Fleming will speak Sunday at the 8:15 a.m. chapel service and 10:30 a.m. communion service on "Disciples No More." Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, Pastor Eric Norgard is preacher and presider Sunday at the 8:30 a.m. worship in the sanctuary and praise worship at 9:45 a.m. in fellowship hall featuring special music. John Ziesmer is lay assisting minister. Sunday school resumes in the fall.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, the Rev. Mark Mooney will speak Sunday at the 9:30 a.m. Smithsburg Pride Days service on "Tearing Down the Walls." Jonathan Leonard is guest organist. Sunday school is at 10:45 a.m.

Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren, 20402 Beaver Creek Road, Pastor Rachel Black will speak Sunday at 10 a.m. on "This is the House That Jesus Built." April Boyle is worship leader. Sunday school is at 9 a.m.

Valley Assembly of God Christian Life Center, 17544 York Road, Hagerstown, the topic Sunday at 10 a.m. is "For Those Who are Waiting for a Chance." Bible Study is at 9 a.m. The 6 p.m. Sunday service features the topic "The Second Coming of Christ." Wednesday's NuVision Youth topic at 7 p.m. is "The Great Command."

Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., the Rev. Al Clipp will speak Sunday at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. on "From Alien to Family." Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m.

Grace Brethren Church, 250 Philadelphia Ave., Waynesboro, Pa., the Rev. Larry Weber will speak Sunday at 10:40 a.m. on "A Good Life to the Max." Missionaries from Chad and the Central African Republic will be guests. There will be no family fellowship. Wednesday prayer, Bible study and Teen Club are at 7 p.m.

A Cry in the Wilderness Ministries, 13194 Monterey Lane, meeting at Steve's Studio/Gallery at Tracey's Corner in Blue Ridge Summit, Pa. The topic Sunday at 10:30 a.m. is "Great Is Your Reward." Ice cream will be served after the service. Christmas in July will be Saturday, July 25, at 6:30 p.m., featuring Christmas carols, stories, special music and a Christmas sermon.
