Area Roundup -- Valley 10-11 All-Stars head to states

Valley Little League will travel to Salisbury this weekend to play in the Maryland 10-11 state tournament.

Representing District 1, Valley will open on Saturday at 10:15 a.m., against Easton, a District 6 representative, at East Wicomico Little League. Six districts are represented in the double-elimination tournament with the championship round slated for July 23.

Manager Damon Huntzberry and coach Don Tapley will take the following players: Ramon Breland, Owen Deffenbaugh, Colin Everett, Cole Huntzberry, Austin Jones, T.J. Kuhn, Trey Martz, Jacob Moore, Tyler Olson, Devon Robinson, Brandon Sprecher and Jordan Tapley.
