Paul Dean Paulson, 83, of Cearfoss Pike, Hagerstown, Md., passed away Saturday, July 11, 2009, at his home.

Born April 28, 1926, in Houtzdale, Pa., he was the son of the late Paul Carl and Henrietta (Archibald) Paulson.

He was employed by Faichild Aircraft, Henson Aviation and David Rider Construction, all of Hagers- town.

He was a member of the West Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses of Hagerstown, serving as elder.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Malissa E. Paulson, whom he married Nov. 28, 1948; sons, Bruce D. Paulson and wife, Sharon, Gregory A. Paulson and wife, Jeanette, John N. Paulson and wife, Penny, and Philip I. Paulson and wife, Bonnie; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two nephews; and one niece.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Fritz Carl Paulson; and one grandson, Thomas Paulson.

A special thanks goes out from the family to everyone for their help and support.


A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 18, 2009, at 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with James Fowler officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
