Water line work to begin this week near Clear Spring

July 14, 2009|By DAN DEARTH

CLEAR SPRING -- Work to replace a water line under U.S. 40 just west of Clear Spring should begin later this week, town officials said Monday.

Councilman Theodore Hovermale said traffic won't be disrupted because workers will bore under the road to install the water line.

He said the work should take a few weeks to complete.

Town officials won't know the cost of the project until an assessment can be made after the work begins, Mayor Paul D. Hose Jr. said.

The water line will serve five houses west of town, Hose said.
