Salem Methodist to offer Camp EDGE Bible school



Salem United Methodist Church of Keedysville will offer Camp EDGE for ages preschool through preteen July 13 to 17 from 6 to 8 p.m.

This Bible school is not your typical stroll through the woods. It's an action-packed, adrenaline-filled expedition that teaches kids their strength and might come from God. It is taught through contemporary music, recreation games, science activities, extreme sports videos and crafts.

The registration desk opens at 5:30 p.m. July 13. Register ahead at www.salemcommunity.org.

Chestnut Grove to hold Bible school



Chestnut Grove Bible Church, at 3636 Chestnut Grove Road, will hold a Vacation Bible school for those ages 3 to 10 July 13 to 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. The theme is "Polar Extremes." The Bible school will feature Bible lessons, refreshments, crafts and games, along with skits, puppets and lots of fun.

BHS Class of 1969 to hold reunion



The Boonsboro High Class of l969 is planning a 40th reunion celebration at the Plaza Hotel in Hagerstown Oct. 3, starting at 6 p.m. A tailgate party might be held Oct. 2 if BHS plays a home football game that evening. More info on that activity will be forthcoming when the BHS football schedule is announced. Letters will be going out to classmates in July.
